Hey folks, it is that time of year again when we begin planning for our Spring Break Mission Trip. This year, we will be traveling to the Los Angeles area (Burbank) for the fourth consecutive year to partner with Fellowship Church of Burbank. This post will give you a glimpse into the details of the trip:

WHEN? March 10-17, 2012

HOW MUCH? $600 covers everything including airfare, lodging, food, and amusement park ticket. You are only responsible for meals in the airport to and from L.A. and your personal souvenir money.

WHERE WILL WE STAY? We will lodge at the church on air mattresses. Most meals will be served at the church. For the ones that will not, you will receive a meal allowance from us.

WHAT WILL WE DO? This church serves as a “mother” to several different ethnic churches in their area–many of them meet under the same roof. There will be some light construction such as painting, gardening, etc, servant evangelism (similar to our gum distributions we do on campus), and neighborhood outreaches to assist some of the newer pastors and churches in their area. There will be something for everyone.

HOW DO I APPLY? Fill out an application and return to Refuge or the CSF office by Tuesday, February 7. You can request an application by emailing us at csf@uml.edu. Along with your application, you need a $100 deposit made payable to Christian Student Fellowship. The team will be selected by February 10.
